Sometimes you need to take a leap of faith for yourself to make real, lasting change finally happen.
We often see a “point B” that we want to get to and then our minds flood with all the reasons why we are going to end up staying at “point A.”
What if you could play the trick of “Hey, look over there!” with your mind so it gets distracted while you go off and do something real. Something that will get your results if you just give it some time.
Then when your mind realizes you pulled a fast one on it and looks back, it then sees those initial results.
It realizes that “point B” can really happen. Because now it believes.
In a recent podcast episode of The MCFEO Project about change, this point really stuck out for me.
The art of change sometimes involves suspending your beliefs and just getting to work.
That work gets you results.
Those results make you (finally) believe.
