This quote from Henry Ford gets used a lot, so why not one more time?
You can identify yourself as someone who can, or someone who can’t in every aspect of life, especially when it comes to taking better care of yourself.
Your identity will then influence your mentality and actions.
If you feel your job is too “demanding” and doesn’t let you take some time for yourself, then you will continue to let it get in the way.
Your body is so “unique” that you can’t lose that stubborn belly fat, or put on some more muscle, that you don’t even bother getting serious about making a significant change to your lifestyle.
There’s nobody in your life to support you through this sort of transition and hold you accountable, so you don’t believe you can go and find someone new who can.
If you identify with any of those points, or can think of any others, you’re right.
If you believe you can change your identity today, you’re also right.
